Happy Thoughts

Class is in Session: Happiness 101

Class is in Session: Happiness 101

Let's talk happiness.

Science has linked happiness to health, wealth and strength of relationships for both individuals and communities. And yet most of us struggle to not only find but maintain happiness in our lives. If it’s so important, why is it so hard to figure out?

Simple. Growing up we are taught how to be dependable consumers. We’re taught how to be hard workers and ‘good’ citizens. But we aren’t ever taught how to create sustainable happiness (which is ironic given that science says happiness leads to more loyal consumers, more productive workers and more engaged citizens)

We're changing that with Happy U, our online happiness school. Because that’s what we are all about - empowering the world to learn and develop sustainable practices that create happiness.

Science has provided us the framework. It’s up to us to put it into action. So what’re we waiting for?

Head on over to Happy U for courses that cover how to implement each of The Eight Pillars of Happiness in your sustainable happiness practice.

For free resources that teach happiness, sign up at the Happiness Hub. Here you'll learn (or unlearn) common happiness myths, get an overview of The Eight Pillars of Happiness and get access to some of my absolute favorite books and videos all about the science of happiness.

My happiness journey spans nearly four decades and includes a fair share of anxiety and depression. Now I'm armed with the science of happiness, which has lead me to create sustainable happiness practices for myself and my family.

And now I want to share them with you over at Happy U. I hope to see you there!
